Another one from last year.
This was a work done for a client. They were interested in a Disney Style Fairies Characters. It really great fun to do. I was trying to came up with new characters that would look like a Disney type, but not like a copy of them of course! In the over all I drew more then 12 different fairies for the client, but these three are my favourite ones! A lot after the job was done I heard from the client that they thing the fairies are too sexy for them so they won't use them for now. But they are still keeping the copyrights for the future... I really how you guys will like them, no matter if they are too sexy or not   -------------------------- Pencil on Paper David Kawena, 2008 All characters are original designs and belong to the artist (me), and the commissioner. Any use of these characters or their likeness without a proper written authority by the creator ('David Kawena', me) is prohibited! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
