Can you paint with all the colours of the wind? by davidkawena Can you paint with all the colours of the wind? by davidkawena
It's been 17 years since the movie came out, and it is still a big, big part of my life. I'm very proud to say, she is now a part of a very fulfilling project I was part of this year.

What project you ask? Well here are other previews from it -

Have a great week everyone

I must first say that I'm Portuguese, so any failure to english please blame the google translator. :/
Then I have to confess that I am a big fan of the work of David Kawena, and so I thought that although many great works that it was impossible for me to impress again after the saga of the heroes of Disney, but this book impressed me because of technical perfect as usual, but also because we can almost see a beauty in this work as old as the world but at the same time a vintage and timeless beauty. :)

Really good job!!! :)

This art piece has excellent movement. The leaves catch my eyes first that move graciously around the main subject of the picture, they have a mild glow and illumination that clears the dark colors of the entire atmosphere. This image has a captured moment, and I love how the subject is not looking directly at me but looking into a distance which creates a wider space and more of a realistic approach to perspective.
Shadows fall softly upon the subject and her hair is done so well that there is no need to fill the space with any other object.

Flawless as always ;-)

You are an incredible artist! Man I wish I had your talent. I can paint and draw but it has not gotten as good as your art.

This is really good. I've always loved Pocahontas. She's one of my favorite Disney Princesses, along with Kida and Mulan.
