(My english isn't that good) I really enjoy looking at this picture. The curly lines of the hair add some electricity, while the makeup is smooth and a bit blurred. His expression is truly amazing, it seems almost desperate or sad. The text says the opposite, which makes the viewer feel a bit uncomfortable. The lightning is well chosen, I especially adore the few highlights. Also, the contrast between the white makeup and the red, glittering neck makes the viewer look at his face at first glance. The only thing I have to criticize is that something about the right ear seems slightly off. (Maybe it's a bit too big)
Stop reposting all your pictures every other day, you're spamming. If it happens again, I'm going to contact/report to DA. That's TWENTY FIVE reposts you did just today. And just to make sure you get the drift, I'll leave this message on every TWENTY FIVE of the reposts I got.
I think this is my favourite of all of the Circus images... The others are wonderful, of course, but I just can't stop looking at this one. It's absolutely beautiful. It strikes me as an image which conveys sadness behind all the glitz and glamour of the circus... I don't know if that's what you were aiming for, but that's what I love about it!
At my collage a few years ago, we were doing a project on "Clowns', Good and Evil, it was a very interesting project considering what is suppose to be funny can also be something very sinister, which makes me wonder now, if too much paint on your face can be scary, then how comes no one is running away from thier little kids on toddlers and tiaras? XD
Anyway, i love this art piece, i love the pinkish/purple lighting and showings on the clown, and the text is just "stand out", wonderfully, probally because i love purple alot XD Non the less, keep up the good work
Eventhough I don't know how the whole piece looks like, I must say that this detail of the original is amazing. I love how much texture and depth this has. And the amount of detail is outstanding. Also the color scheme you used really gives it a mysterious and magical touch. Been watching you for a while now and even though I thought you were a great artist at the beginning, one can really see a lot of progress and fulfillment in your latest works. So, awesome job, I salute you!
