First off, let me begin by saying, OH WOW! I cannot believe that NO ONE has critiqued this. That is surprising because it is beautiful!
Vision:
I really thought from the thumbnail that this was just pictures of people shopped together.... Upon further inspection however I realized it is not. I love how the woman is silhouetted by the white. I LOVE it. The only thing that threw me off vision wise was the man on the left with the gun. It makes that side visually heavier and makes the other side look bare... and by the way.... Great job on only using one color! That's impressive.
Originality:
Some might dispute this and say that they have seen this type of setup before.... While that may be true in some cases.... I can say that I have never seen one where it was PAINTED and not just pictures stitched together. I still love this image...
Technique:
This may have been what you were going for but personally I think that the two faces at the top could have been more refined and blended/smoother. It just bothers me because it doesn't seem to match the other figures which are more realistic in texture. Otherwise it is very impressive. Again, especially because it is monochromatic.
Impact:
I LOVVVVEEE this. If this was a print and if I wasn't broke... I would buy the largest size and stick it up on my wall. There is just something about it that I just can't get enough of! It makes me want more. And I want to know what The Kiss Of The Spider Woman is about. (I have never heard of it before...)
