BOOM BAM BABY - I'M BACK!!!
Show some respect to emperor Kuzco boys and girls!
A month! A whole month that I've been away! My God...
But it's all for the best! I've been really busy, doing my shit and heaving the time of my life! I've had NO ONLINE TIME AT ALL! My inbox if FULL PACKED with E-mails, messages, comments, new art to view, and lots of journal posts - all need to be addressed and answered - I have no idea how will I do it! But it seems like I can do a whole lot more then I imagine when I'm putting myself into it - And this drawing of Kuzco is a good example!
it was not an easy task to accomplish! Kuzco is not the usual tall dark and handsome kind of guy, he's not really nice (at first) and he's so skinny - not my type at all! But he's got one thing that always works - he is hilarious! And so full of himself - the perfect material for a Disney Hero Model!
Getting ready for drawing this one, I wanted to keep it simple as possible, heaving some more Maya/Inca elements into the character, but not too much and heaving the light a lot softer on the character then the other heroes - in order to avoid too much of a contrast on his body that will emphasize how skinny he really is... I really enjoyed the fact I could play with a slightly wider range of colours with this one, coming from the golds and cyans of his accessories - it was really fun creating these golden textures!
When it was half way through, the poster of the film came to my mind with the "It's all about ME!" slogan, and I just knew I had to incorporate it into this portrait of Kuzco, as it is all about him, with his pose, pointing at us the viewers... showing off... He's so condescending huh?!
If I'm not mistaken it was like the third drawing of him I've done in my life and it's all because of the "Emperor's New School" series that started to air here - finally - that I've remembered about him and felt like "Huh! He's gotta be a part of the collection too!"
So I really hope you'll like it folks - be sure there's a whole lot more to come soon!!!
Thanks for everyone who sent in messages asking if I'm O.K. - don't you worry guys, I am perfectly fine thank God!
To my dear friends - Faye, HAPPY BDAY DEAR - wish you all the best in life and a little more! Kerry, thank you so much for worrying about me man, and Pino - you're killing me with your latest work ! I miss you so much and I'll E-mail everyone soon!
Have a Great Weekend Everyone!!!

Why can I not hug drawings?!?
I can't get over how much I love this! Everything about this is so perfect to me. I adore the movie and TV show so much a started writing a fanfiction for it. My OC is named Kiki and long story short, her and Kuzco were best friends when they were kids, but her father never really wanted her so at a young age he disowned Kiki and kicked her out. Kuzco found her one day living in the streets dressed in rags and brought her back to his palace where to repay him, she started training as his personal body guard.
Before the start of the movie Kiki left to go train with some female warriors for a couple if years and she comes back in the TV show timeline.
This picture is how I picture Kuzco after Kiki starts forcing him to train as well, so he can defend himself if she and his other body guards fail somehow. He's still skinny but he gets more muscle tone.
All the art with the jewelry! <3
Kuzco is peruvian, like me, so I always feel a little overprotective when it comes to him. And fantastic art like yours just assures me he's well loved by the fandom.
