Disney Heroes Collection: Prince Edward!

It's a little bit bolder then the others in some way, heaving him being the first Disney hero who's not really wearing underwear.

I knew from the start that I want to keep some of the art nouveau motives from the movie. So I drew Edward's gloves from and sword from the film, adding a little leather fetish inspired twist to them. Along with that I added the straps and pants, all from the latest Andalesia Fashion Designs Collection! I was joking with myself on how Giselle's fashion house designed this one especially for Edward

I wanted to avoid the trap of just drawing James Marsden, and at the same time, keeping it a real-life looking version of the animated character. I hope I achieved what I was looking for, in getting a mix of the animated and the real-life versions of Prince Edward.

In a way, I think that after seeing Enchanted for the first time, the initial thought of "How would other Disney guys would look like if the were real?" came to my mind. Maybe that was the beginning for this whole collection of mine.... So, Edward had already had his place in the collection from the start!

this must be my alltime Disney hero favorite! (Though they are all VERY lovely!!!)
Looking at him makes me happy every time - those buns are just... yummy

haha you are so incredible. It's funny how the ones based after actors (though I know you try to stay true to the animation/illustration) make me blush more, like I'm seeing them in real life! LOL! I love you!
