A very old piece I've found on my old computer.

This was one of my very first commissions for a client. They wanted some very graphic style characters, representing different Israeli people from all kind. Teen kinds, married couple, boy and girl soldiers and such.

It was a lot of to do, cause it was great to practice something that was so different from my usual style.

The upper line-up is the final model sheet of all the characters. Below is the rough character designs. The client decided to have the female soldier in pants instead of a skirt. And as you can see I had the most difficulties deciding how the male soldier should look like for some reason...

I remember living in Israel - the soldiers walking around with their big guns used to scare me - but then after a couple of years you get used to it. God I miss it so...

It's like a jumbled timeline. ^^! Do they have names or are they all the same people at different ages? Or maybe a family? (love the bride's dress)
