Many times I'm being asked about my sources of inspiration, or where do my ideas come from. While shooting at The Grand Central Terminal I kept hearing "Isaac" by Madonna in my head. There's a line there that says: "Bring the Heaven and the stars down to earth for me". At that moment I looked up to the stunning ceiling artwork with it's zodiac signs and cosmic stars and I knew it must be 'brought down to earth' and that I have to use these visuals in our studio shoot as well. This is how inspiration works for me, hope it will inspire you.

There is such drama in this exemplar of light and shade use. The models physique is wonderfully defined in what at first seems a simple but highly effective pose. The accessorisation with the exception of the crucifix isn't for me, enhancing the image whereas the crucifix has the shadow effect on the thigh giving it some minor relevance to the main impact for me here, the sheer beauty of the model's form against the skilled lighting. Very much enjoyed this image
