58 shows in Europe, the US, Canada, Mexico and South America, played for a staggering 2,350,282 million fans and sold over (USD)280,000,000 in tickets - the 'Sticky & Sweet' Tour became the Number One Largest Grossing Tour in the history by a solo artist!!!
So after I've done so many drawings and sketches listening to my ultimate muse, I thought it is about time I'll better draw her too! This one was inspired by Madonna's look for the video screen of "Die Another Day" and the official tour book for the "Sticky & Sweet tour", that ended it's run this week, in Brazil. It keeps on amaze me how an artist who's first single ever was released more then 26 years ago, is just keep on getting bigger and bigger, becoming an unstoppable force to be reckoned with, a true phenomenon, an icon, a legend! I think every artist - singer, songwriter, dancer, performer, illustrator, designer, etc. could be inspired by her. Not necessary like her or he music, agree with her and what she stands for, even liking her... BUT what everyone can take from her is a great sense of respect and inspiration to never stop pushing oneself to new limits, always grow, change, and bring something new to the visual world in any way possible, and always stay true to yourself and your message. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I was fortunate enough to see her perform in Colorado! The tour was AMAZING.
As for her new look; I'm getting used to it, but I don't think that I like those bangs on her. I don't know.
