Another "old" piece I've done way back in 2005...

This drawing means a lot to me a it was also, one of the first 5 "professional" drawings I've done of Madonna. Also it was all based on costume designs for the Confessions Tour that were revealed to the public on MadonnaTribe.com some time before the tour started.

I was really inspired by the costumes designs that I just couldn't wait to see Madonna and her Dancers, Mirhan and Cloud wearing them, so I had to draw it by myself! ;P

This one also means a lot to me as while drawing this kind of like poster for the tour, I knew that this is going be my first time seeing Madonna live! I was so thrilled!

This drawing eventually became the middle page of a booklet I've created for the tour, full of Madonna drawings inspired by the tour. I was hoping to somehow get at least one copy of the booklet to Madonna herself. Yeah, dream on, that's what I thought...

But little did I know that I was going to meet her main dancer - Daniel 'Cloud' Campos, have a long small talk with him, and eventually giving him 5 copies of the booklet - that he said "I have to show this to Madonna right now before the show starts!"

you know, I can see that it's an old piece... It's not bad, of course: it's great! But you improved a LOT, expecially on skin colouring!

*jaw drops* Wow! The detail is so incredible, and the costumes are great! Congratulations for getting a copy to Madonna!! That must have felt so awesome!!!
