You gotta live under a rock for the past 3 months or so, for you to not know of Madonna's upcoming album!
The album titled "HARD CANDY" featuring collaborations with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Danja and kanye west, will be released around the world on April 29th, and the first single from the album "4 minutes (to save the world)", a duet between Madonna and Justin Timberlake and also featuring Timbaland, will be out this week! You can only imagine the excitement and enthusiastic emotions that I'm going through this past months, waiting for the album to be released.

This drawing was created in honor of "Hard Candy".
It was done a long time before I knew what Madonna's new look for the album will be like... This has to be on the most challenging drawings I had ever done. I had sketches for it for more then two months now, but only four weeks ago I got to sit down and start working on it. Thinking of what the new album might sound like I asked myself - 'What is Madonna cooking for us next?' then I came up with the 'dinner' idea.

Here came up Justin Timberlake and Pharrell kind of like Madonna's servants, as I think they both 'served' us all with great music in the past years, and Timbaland is defiantly the hottest 'dish' around right?! Now, heaving all the ingredients of a great meal, you'll need the perfect place to make it all happen - and what is better then a royal kitchen right?! Here enters the queen!!! Only Madonna can upgrade it all into new heights and give everything the royal treatment! And these are my hopes for the new album - (judging from the first single, 4 minutes - my hopes came true big time!) I wanted to create a mix up of newer versions of Madonna we got to see this past year as I really loved that look on her as well as keeping some old elements from her career here and there too, that I'm sure fans will recognize in this 'teaser-like' poster for the upcoming album.

I hope you all like this one, regardless of if you are a Madonna fan or not, as I worked may a$$ off on this one...
