Last night while I was watching one of my most favorite movies "Brokeback Mountain" on t.v. I thought, 'How come I never got to do this Brokeback fan art I've been wanting to for so long?! What's stopping me?"

Today I woke up to hear the news of the death of Heath Ledger... Sadness overflowed me and as always with this kind of feelings I've turned to the only safe spot I have - drawing. I won't deny the fact that there are tears in my eyes as I'm writing this... This is not the way I thought I'll draw something from this wonderful movie.

I don't want to go into what was going on in Heath's personal life, and what lead to his tragic death - I'm sure the media will have a blast talking about it on and on in the next few days... So I'm asking of you, if you would like to comment on this one please leave speculations and gossip aside, and remember him for the talented, beautiful man that he was.

I wasn't his number one fan, but he touched me so deeply in "Brokeback Mountain'' - his best performance ever in my eyes - his role there was actually one of the final stages of my self acceptance...

god, that's beautiful D8

it makes me so sad too... he was an amazingly talented actor, one of my favorites... it's hard to imagine that he's gone :/
