As you can see, I'm all :frog: !!!

Tiana and Prince Naveen - the heroes of Disney's upcoming 2D hand drawn masterpiece: "The Princess and the Frog"!

With every day passes I find myself more and more excited about this film. The passed few days were more 'crazy' then even as we got so many up-dated about the film, a new release date, some new pictures of the main characters and I specifically got some inside information about the film's plot line! Whoohoow!

I am working like crazy lately and I have no time to answer notes, and E-mails - so sorry guys - and of course, I have NO TIME to draw for myself, but today I just felt the urge to draw!

So today after I finished work, got home, had the most amazing chocolate cake, I set down (fighting the sleep away) and let my imagination run wild. I thoughtof this picture of Tiana & Naveen like a week ago, wanting to make it like a poster with lots of colour and clean smooth lines... But once I started to sketch the thing, I really liked the rough sketchy look and I thought: "What better film then this one who represents Disney back to hand drawn animation, to be presented in a very hand drawn, rough style?" Right?! :nod:

So I decided to go along with it, and this is the outcome!

Well, I was working on this all till morning, and since the sun is actually rising right now, and it's 06:36 here, I'll better go to sleep!

I dedicate this one to all of the movie fans, and all who found love in the strangest places by never giving up on it!

Aww this is adorable. I haven't seen him yet and I was really wondering what Prince Naveen was going to look like.

Can I be honest though? I was kinda hoping he'd be black too. Regardless, the film still looks amazing and that's not going to keep it from being a hit! (i hope.... ^^;)

Goodness, I am so excited for this film and am seriously hoping it turns things around for the world of 2D animation. I love your decision to go rough and organic with this piece -- Tiana is looking gorgeous, and Naveen seems to know how lucky he is to have a gal like her. :) Love the heart-shaped vine, and, of course, how on-model you are never ceases to blow me away!

I think he IS black in this. Judging by his face and the disney-fied hair... just the lankyness of the prince leads me to beleive that.

Though I LOVE how he incorperated the lillies and vines into their outfits <3

I LOVE the "rough sketchy look"! It definitely fits the picture well! And the heart around them is so cute!

Dude, I am so stoked for that movie! The character designs and concept of it all are awesome! Nice job on this doodle for the movie! 2D animation is back in business, and business looks good =D

aww, they're so cute!! Love the heart, it's sooo romantic :D It always brightens my day when I see your work, definitely look forward to it a lot. Although, I must say I'm looking forward to this movie an awful lot and just can't wait...eeee...i feel like bursting into song...ooooh, they're going to have an awesome soundtrack for this, I just know it!! :D

Anywho, back on topic: well done, the sketchiness adds to the awesomeness btw, love it!
