Well, what do you know, I was in the mood for some Manga/Anime inspirations...


Basic info on the characters (still have no names...)

* The first guy, - the one with the white shirt,- is the leader of the gang. He is 36 y/o used to be a police officer and can't get over it (even tough he's out of the job for years) during war his wife died, and his daughter is lost. He and his son survived.

* The red head next to him - that's his son, 19 y/o. He's the 'drama queen' of the group, computer freak, built his own hand after loosing it in during the war. Totally in love with the black-hair guy next to him.

* The black-haired guy - 24 y/o. got away from home when he was young. martial arts expert. Use to work as a male exotic dancer in a club before the war, where he and the red-head boy met, he's a good friend to the red-head boy cause he knows his in love with him, but he can't love him back, cause he is straight..

* The BIG guy - I really have no idea what's his story, where he came from and all that... He was deadly injured during the war (duh), can't stand that half of he's body is machine, but he will learn to LOVE it eventually.

* The last one - This is where I'm totally lost. Never thought of a plot line for him, this is funny as he was the first one of them that I drew so I had lots of time to think of something for him...

These characters came to me after one of the art/design classes in my first year of studying animation at the university. They were supposed to be part of this story concept I had, but eventually - never got fully developed. I wanted to create this Si-Fi designs for class, but after I finished sketching these guys, I wasn't sure if they were the right thing for the class, so ended up drawing something else. Some 4 months ago I went trough some of my 'old' stuff and found this sketch again and I had the feeling it must be coloured, and maybe even finish the story line... So I'm done with the colours - Let's see what I'll do with them next! ;)

Great job on the designs! I love how you were able to mix the soft aspects of humans with the hard edged look of technology. The color scheme is also very aesthetically pleasing as well, lots of warm earth tones set off by the brilliance of the characters eyes and hair. Can't wait to see what else you have in store for these five.

Love the red head, pretty bad ass I must say even the thong ^_^

Then the blacked haired guy, wow who know straight could be so fine-- not to mention the shoes and the Armour legs ^_^

All and all I love the characters, all of them, and I'd love to hear their stories in depth ^_^

Lol I absolutely LOVE this! I mean... wow! Looks like a disney thing... I cant believe how they all look so hot! Specially the first one, looks kind of british...

very cool!though very hot, they're not not my type of guys (they have too muscles!!! but who cares about my type of guys? :confused: ok , let's get to the point then^^): what an amazing character designer you are! and I love people who try to go beyond the drawing to get the story of the character!!! so, to sum it up: great job and great style, as usual! (sorry to be so un-original, everybody already told you that...):blahblah:
