These are Background Art drawings that I have done in 2002, for one of my earliest projects of my animation studies.
These are actually the first backgrounds (that are intended for animation production) I had ever done in my life!!!

The project was a presented as short trailer for a feature film titled "AKI".

It was first drawn with pencil, then scanned and coloured with Photoshop...

Wow, that's really nice.

I like the vibrant colours.... I love the water in the top painting. It reminds me of Tales of Symphonia (but better).

Wow these are very beautiful. I love the composition of the illustrations and the colours you used are so beautiful and lush. I love the details on the tiling of the pagoda. I thonk that's what they're called.

Also I envy that you work in animation =o

Absolutely gorgeous. They remind me of the films by one of my favorite directors, Kim Ki Duk.
