In one moment a mother no longer has a son, a doughtier no longer have a father, kids can no longer visit their grandmother.

You try to think only about that, but then you look at the pictures of the victims, and the picture of the terrorist who killed them, and the mind don't want to go there. You start to hear voices on the news saying it was 'an accident', or blaming it on 'misuse of drugs'...

Then pictures of a young man holding a gun in his hand in one shot and burning the American flag in another start to appear online. And again, you try not go there, cause you don't want to live in this kind of world, it's too hard to admit it. You block away all recent shooting and brutality by the police and all the videos you saw online. In your search for answers that will please or ease you, you come across news reports that are now spreading this insane 'manifesto' and you can no longer escape from the truth!

And now everyone talks about how you need to invest more money in education to 'black schools', cause it is very easy to think that the problem is, again, within the African American community. And I say that they should also start thinking of spending money on education in 'white schools' like the ones from which the Charleston shooter came from because this is where the problem is! When some people so proudly jamming to Beyoncé, but don't want people with same skin colour as her living in their neighbourhoods!

Racism is alive, and well! And it is thriving in the hearts and souls of the younger generation, and it is time for everyone to wake up! Get out of our bubbles and start seeing this latest shooting for what  it is - A racist hate crime - and stop trying to cover it up with prettier words that will make it easier on us handle or give us excuse to 'understand it'!

Ignoring racism won't make it go away! It is up to each of us to take ownership of our actions, test ourselves brutally and honestly as to where may act as part of the problem, and as a whole be more kind to one another, see people for who they are not for how they look.

I pray the images of Susie Jackson, Rev. DePayne Middleton-Doctor, Rev. Daniel L. Simmons Sr., Cynthia Hurd, Ethel Lee Lance, Tywanza Sanders, Myra Thompson, Rev. Sharonda Singleton, and Rev. Clementa Pinckney would be the images of the last people murdered because of the colour of their skin.
Amen.

Finally open for commissions -

So, let's talk business - Please read the following information carefully. Everything you will need to know can be found here:

First things first - If you're looking for a drawing to be done within a week-2 weeks, that's not likely to happen! I am always busy, always working on something. I approach each creation as a personal one, putting all my heart and effort into it, and that takes time. That is also why most of you might think that I charge too much, but I'm not one to sell myself short and I can guarantee you the best, highest quality result from a passionate artist that will make every bit of your money worth.

As I mentioned above I draw almost anything but there a few things I will not draw - Anything that might be conceived as racism. Any display of pre-teen characters in any sexual or sensual form! There will be no displays of an extreme hardcore pornography, no violence display for the purpose of killing another person, no politics, and no anti-religious messages!!! In no way any of these visuals will be a part of my commissioned work, no matter how much you'll pay, it is non-negotiable.

Other then that, I would really want you to let you mind go free, excite me about your concepts and ideas and I'll bring that enthusiasm back to the painting! I'm here to make your dreams come true!

SO HOW DOSE IT WORK:
As soon after we agree on taking this journey together, I'll send you a small contract via Email, PM, note etc. that will be field with your details and mine, stating that we both agreed to respect it. You should provide all the needed reference material, guide line, plot, colour palette and any other material you can for me to 'get into your head'!

Our work flow (for a full coloured drawing) will go something like this -

* Rough Sketch: First you'll receive a rough sketch, basically in a 'stick figure' form to determine the pose(s) and scene.
* Inked Work/Clean Up: Then, move onto the Black and White / Clean Up drawing.
* Coloured version: The final drawing in full colour.
* Send the payment and the work is yours: All works are done in standard A3 size, at 300dpi. Your file will be sent in both CMYK and RGB, and your choice of file JPG / TIFF / PSD (closed-non layered file) or any other that is available to me.

FEES FOR WORK:
Projects fees vary depending on it's complexity. After both sides agreed on the project direction, style and such the client must send in a deposit of 50% that is required to start work. If at any time the client will decide to drop the commission, this deposit will not be returned and will cover the time already spent by the artist on the work in hand.
--- After first deposit, please allow up to 7 working days before receiving first, initial sketches. ---

All payments must be made through PayPal ONLY!

Hey there fellow Deviant artists, friends, fans and followers - how are you all doing?

It's been a long time coming, and I'm happy to announce I finally opened up a YouTube Channel!
I hope I'll be able to update it regularly with 'making off' videos of my art and more.

For now, check out my first ever time-lapse video!
Na Na Na Na Na... Bitch I'm Kawena!

Final Drawing -

EDIT -
I deleted the audio as it caused the video to be blocked in some countries and devices. Still, I drew this while listening to 'Bitch I'm Madonna' by Madonna Ft. Nicki Minaj, so if you want to get into the vibe I was in, you can download it now from iTunes smarturl.it/RebelHeart

ENJOY!

Hello fellow deviants, how are you all doing?!

Ever since I was a kid I was inspired by the works of other artists, as we all are. I used to look at the art works of Michelangelo and draw my own versions of them. Then as I grew a bit older, I looked at shows like 'Duck Tales', "My Little Pony', 'COPS', 'G.I.Joe' and 'Transformers' and draw all the characters day by day. And of course as you all know, there were all the classic Disney movies, from 'SnowWhite and the Seven Dwarfs' all the way to 'Aladdin' and 'Pocahontas'. I was also enchanted by photography! And the works of such talents like Herb Ritts and Steven Meisel captivated my heart and influenced my art forever.

Back then, it was almost impossible to get in touch with all these wonderful artist and show them my appreciation for their work by sharing my art with them. Today, getting in touch with the people who inspire you is almost at the click of button. You can now upload a drawing inspired by someone you love, tag them in the picture, and they'll probably see it right away.

So many of my followers here on DA have blessed me with this wonderful gift of art which is constantly moving me, as I never thought that I would live to see the day where my own original art would inside others, and now it seems so many of you also respond to my photography work, which beyond overwhelming to me and I can't take that for granted as it hits the very core of my own childhood where I used to do the same.

So, I would like to share a few of the recent works by talented artists from all over the world who were inspired by work, and also share one of their own original work which I love the most and hopefully give them all more exposure as well.
